This wood material list is for our Suburban KING FORT kit and optional add-ons. As you can see, our designs use heavy-duty 4x4 construction for extra safety and stability. All sizes are standard and should be available at most home improvement centers. All lumber should be pressure treated southern yellow pine (#2 grade or better) or lumber of equivalent strength and durability. Speak to a salesperson at your local lumberyard/hardware store to determine an acceptable locally availabe wood type. You can print this page and take it to your local lumber supply or hardware store to obtain accurate pricing (starting from $230 in many locations). Of course, we supply a similar, more detailed table with our kit plans -- we just thought you might want to do some research beforehand to verify our wood price estimates.
